Welcome to Far Recon, an IRC based roleplaying game for the SCP Foundation. You are an agent, researcher, doctor, or some other type of Foundation worker who finds him or herself being shipped off to Area 354, to work at the Red Pool. Not only that, but you're part of Special Task Force 354 - "Poolboys" - a task force made up of a variety of all kinds of doctors and agents and researchers. Your duty is to explore the Red Pool, assist Area 354 in various types of jobs, and be sent out for other special tasks should you be required.
The Red Pool is a hostile pool, to be sure. Filled with extra-dimensional beasts of all sorts. Not to mention entering it can lead to another dimension, where possibilities are endless. You may even live out Gears's fantasy of meeting your Nazi-self - who knows?
