Aspects

Paranoid Supremacy Good news is, everything D.T. ever suspected is more or less right. He can adapt to weird situations, work out weird logic, and talk with weird creatures because he’s been preparing for this sort of thing since college. Bad news is, he can take normal dangers for granted, be a little too sure of his own vaguely twisted logic, and find some of the weird stuff just a little too captivating to register as a threat.

Marvel Pacifist He’s a little bit averse to the whole murder thing. While he’d be hard pressed to find a good reason not to put down a rampaging squid hog, especially if he’s nowhere near the trigger, anything humanoid or sapient enough will make him a little less than willing to roll out the dead carpet. However, this same attitude encourages creativity in the field of non-lethally disabling someone and diffusing situations verbally, and he’s recently been informed that kneecaps do in fact grow back.

Techno Messiah With a degree in one hand and years of experience in the other, topped off by a few years in Foundation service studying extradimensional OSes, there's no denying that D.T.'s technological prowess is nothing to sneeze at. But his personal assessment of those skills are about twice what they actually are, which can push him up against impassable walls he hadn't quite noticed.

Personal History

Born in the Midwestern United States, D.T. always had a knack for the inner workings of things. Machines, wires, and even the way words could be twisted into something they weren't. At the same time he always had the inexplicable feeling that there was more to the universe besides the rigid equations that he so excelled at. This led him to embrace the conspiracy community in his youth.

Near the end of his college career, DT entered a bizarre rivalry with a faceless talented hacker known as “Doctor Shock”. The ensuing tutelage propelled his burgeoning electronic interest to new heights and schooled him heavily in the art of cyber infiltration. (hacking is such a dirty word, you know)

Some time later in his life, he drew the Foundation's attention after temporarily subduing an anomalous computer program, and eagerly accepted their offer to join. Four years later he heads toward his latest station, Site-354.
