Disgruntled Medic Who Gets The Job Done

Friend Of The Night: Griffin suffers from chronic insomnia. Regularly staying awake throughout the night, he is no stranger to darkness. Years of nighttime prowling and guard duty have made his senses accustomed to low light situations. The lack of regular sleep, unfortunately, will occasionally catch up to him and cause several negative effects.

Field Focused: While occupied with medical operations in the field, Griffin blocks out all distractions and focuses on the task at hand. This allows him to work more efficiently, but at the cost of limited awareness.

Amputate This!: He can sew 'em up; he can cut 'em up. As a medic, Griffin has learned the ins and outs of human anatomy. This comes in handy for both patching up gunshot wounds and knowing where to jab a knife. However, inhuman anatomy poses a bit of a problem.

Personal History

Griffin Cross was born and raised in Kansas, United States. He was always fascinated with medicine and the human body, so he studied medical science during and after high school. When he was 23-years-old, Griffin enrolled in the United States Army and began training as a combat medic. He served in the Army for three years, during which he was a part of numerous brutal conflicts overseas. Learning to get past his friends' blood and guts was the easy part. Watching them die was the hard part. He tries to forget his experiences there. Griffin left the Army with several commendations for bravery. However, they did little to compensate him for the horrors he had witnessed while serving.

During Griffin's enlistment, the Foundation was recruiting medical personnel to replace those lost in an incident at one of their containment sites. The Foundation had been tracking numerous individuals throughout the recruitment process, monitoring their conduct and behavior under different circumstances. Griffin Cross happened to be one of the individuals being monitored. After he left the Army, Griffin was approached by the Foundation and offered a job. He was skeptical at first, but the Foundation succeeded in convincing him that he was needed. Griffin finally accepted the offer, and has spent the last two years rotating among Keter-class containment sites.

Area-354 is his latest assignment.

At 31 years old, Griffin stands at 5'9" and is of average build. He has short black hair, blue eyes, and fair skin. He wears his U.S. Army dog tags as a grim reminder of his past.
