Run And Gun: Jason's training and occupation emphasized three things: speed, surprise, and violence of action. Delivering these and executing them cleanly, efficiently, and in volume keeps him alive to keep others alive.

  • Enhanced Aggression - At the cost of 2 AP, Jason can take two actions in a single combat/time-sensitive round. These actions are limited to offensive or physical efforts, and must both be performed sequentially on Jason's turn. If the first attack kills or destroys the target, his second action is made at a +2 bonus.
  • Heightened Tactical Sense - At the cost of 1 AP, Jason can interrupt an attack directed against him by initiating an attack of his own. This is accomplished by an attack roll against the enemy's defense; if Jason's attack succeeds, and beats the target's DC by at least 1, the enemy's attack is interrupted and it takes any effect Jason's attack would normally have. If Jason's attack is unsuccessful, the enemy's attack continues as normal, and Jason must attempt an appropriate defense.


Identification Friend or Foe: Despite a friendly and jovial nature, he is unforgiving in the short term and impatient in the extreme, and quick to anger if whoever he's dealing with is obviously hassling him. The count to ten rarely makes it past one.
By Gun, By Blade, Or By Bare Hand: Years of dedicated training and implementation of service and threat weapons, less-lethal and edged weapons, and unarmed combat skills have created the gold standard of modern combatant. With such a breadth of knowledge, though, comes a marked tendency to rely on it.
Leave No Man Behind: Central to his ethos as both a Marine and his current tasking as an MTF operator is the concept that regardless of occupation, all standing with him are united in cause, joined in action, and bound in blood. Injured or fallen, alive or dead, walking or crawling, it makes no difference, and he will not suffer leaving comrades behind.
