Nicole Little

Forensic Sketch Artist

Aspect 1: Draw all the things: Obsessed with putting what she see's down on paper she is perceptive enough she can pretty much draw on the run now. Having spent so much time looking at things with an artists eye she sees the world slightly differently, noticing the small minutiae that others often miss. Everything from the way a shadow is cast to the colour of the lighting adds up in her head to create visual clues.

Aspect 2: Stay away people: Content to avoid social contact she is very good at avoiding running into people, in fact unless you actually go looking for her you probably won't even be aware she exists. She learnt to be a ghost at first to avoid doing her chores at home, and then to avoid people at school. By the time she was employed by the Police she was adept at simply disappearing into the woodwork so she wouldn't have to deal with people.

Aspect 3: Daydream believer: Able to escape into her own world she lives in a self imposed fantasy land inside her own head quite often. Accused of being wool gathering she is actually just thinking, planning and drawing inside her head. She escapes into her own mind when things get rough, and has a remarkable ability to shrug off the horrors of the job.

Personal History

Nicky is a true blue kiwi lass, born in the warm climes of the Far North she joined the army as a cadet at age 15 after getting in trouble with the law. Deciding the army really wasn't for her she went back and finished school and then went on to Witcliff art school. She somehow managed to get a job with the Auckland Police Department as a Forensic Sketch artist and from there ended up with the Foundation after stumbling on an anomaly while doing field work on a missing persons case. She has always been good with words, from her time spent debating at school to her ability to talk the details of a persons face out of traumatised victims. She found herself assigned to the "arse end of Canada" after proving herself competent elsewhere.

Nicky is 5'5" and skinny with glasses which constantly slide down her nose. Short light brown hair (always messy) and steel grey eyes. Usually wears tight fitting jeans and tee shirts with a huge baggy sweater over top which comes down to her knees. Always has pencil/ charcoal or paint smudged on her, often on her face. Drifts off into dreamland mid conversation on a regular basis and as a habit of starting conversations in her head and then talking aloud half way through so nobody knows what she is talking about.
Reclusive, hides from people mostly. When actually engaged in a conversation with a real live human she is quite gregarious and friendly - usually this in the capacity of work, she isn't really into socialising, would rather read or draw. She has the innate ability to get along with pretty much anyone.
Her classic response to danger is throw the nearest thing and run like shit.
Speaks Maori as well as English.
Listens to a weird collection of Metal and Punk music
