Sami Hammoud

Veteran Intellegence Officer

Double-Check: Spending years working in one of the most secretive and widespread intellegence agencies in the world has had its toll on Sami. He is overly cautious to the point of paranoia; while this is quite useful on a mission, where each step needs to be checked twice, he appears quite tense and perhaps unstable.
Biological Polygraph: Sami is a veteran spy and interrogator, and thanks to the training he's recieved, he can read facial expressions and actions to make an educated and somewhat accurate guess about what they are thinking/planning. This is perhaps a side-effect of his habit to overanalyze everything, which is both sometimes really good, and really bad.
Boom Goes the Dynamite!: Many times, his mission briefing was simply: "Take this, and make sure so-and-so isn't alive tomorrow," before being shoved with a bunch of high-explosives. He hasn't lost this knack, although he sometimes decides that explosives are the right solution even when it would almost certainly cause more problems than solve ones.

Personal History

Born during the midst of the October War, he for much of his life wanted to become a spy. He was later recruited by the Air Force Intellegence Branch of the Syrian Arab Republic, where he undertook several "off-the-record" operations. Eventually, in 2010s, he was approached by his superiors to undertake a mission known as "Zaqzaq". He wasn't told what it involved, or how dangerous it would be; all he was told was that he had to observe the transport and eventual destruction of an object, and he could take four of his comrades with him. What they hadn't told him was that the "object" was in fact several SCP items, and that combined, they were incredibly dangerous without proper containment. The ensuring operation saw inadequite containment, upon which the SCP inflicted major destruction on the transporters. The resulting conflict saw him lose a couple of his fellow agents, an eye, and a month-long trackdown which ended in the use of two tons of explosive to ensure its complete destruction. Following this, the Foundation approached him and offered him to either take enough amnesiacs to forget the past couple of months, or to join the Foundation.

He is 6'2", light brown hair, hazel-green eyes.
He wears an eyepatch over where his left eye would be. Presumably, he lost it during Zaqzaq.
He keeps his will underneath his bed. Not that there really is much to bequeath.
It was secretly thought/joked by his co-workers that the only time Sami is truly at peace is when he's on a mission. Although a joke, he does seem to be more relaxed and focused while out on the field.
